    What is Nitriding?
    Nitriding is a kind of heat treatment process that increases the corrosion resistance and durability of the steel. It involves applying a nitrogen-rich gas like ammonia or sodium cyanide to heated metal.
    Heated in a specialized nitriding furnace up to around 1000º F (about 540º C), the metal gets non-stick, light-weight, rustproof and easy-to-clean characteristics.

    HOW TO SEASON FOR FIRST-USE? Clean the wok with detergent for first-use, wash and dry up Add some oil over low heat Use paper towel to rub the oil over the wok Turn off the heat when there is smoke Leave the wok until it cools down and pour out the oil And you will find the wok incredibly NON-STICK! TIPS: Season the wok before first three uses, and wash it by hand without detergent. The more you use the wok, the better it becomes! Maintenance: Wash it with a mild detergent in warm water and rinse clean before using for the first time. Do not heat empty cookware.
